Short film-making competition.

General rules and regulations

1. length of the movie- 5-8 mins.
2. deadline for submission of movie- 48 hrs. from the time of registration.
3. movies should be strictly based on the themes to be provided by the organizers. the themes will be provided on 3rd of october on the website as well as in print.
4. movies to be shot entirely in patiala city, with some part of the movie shot inside TU campus. at the time of submission the teams are required to provide the final movie, unedited clips, list of locations of shooting and the softwares used for editing on a CD.
5. registration for the event will commence from 10 am on 4th of october. it will continue till 10 am on 5th of october.
6. language used should be either hindi or english.
7. scenes of smoking and drinking, abusive language, excessive violence, obscenity are strictly prohibited. use of any of them will lead to disqualification.
8. the competition has two categories: film-making with handycams/digicams and film-making with mobiles. the evaluation scheme and prize money for both the categories are different(to be announced later).
9. the best three movies overall to be showcased on the final day.
10. maximum 6 member team is allowed. all the participants of a team should be individually registered for aranya'07. certificates and prizes to be awarded to the registered members only.
